Supreme Release Yoga (SRY) Fundamentals and SRY Fundamentals: Supreme Spine

One-Day Practical Pedagogy for Teachers and Dedicated Yogis

For teachers of other styles who want to teach SRY or for Yoga students who simply want to understand the details behind the poses. This day is 100% dedicated to breaking down the personalized and profound alignment of SRY asanas, propping and teaching methodology for eight essential poses. Leave confident in your practice and in being able to successfully share Supreme Release Yoga with students or friends.

Teachers attend SRY Fundamentals as a one-day add on to immersions or trainings with Kaya. Dedicated yogis can attend SRY Fundamentals as a standalone program.

Two Choices for SRY Fundamentals in 2020

This year Kaya is offering two types of SRY Fundamentals programs. The first is the traditional SRY Fundamentals program. The second is SRY Fundamentals: Supreme Spine, a one-day program focused specifically on learning the subtle anatomy of the spine (Chakras and Kuṇḍaīnī Śakti) in relationship to the physical āsanas. Both fulfill the prerequesite for attending advanced programs.

If you’ve attended SRY Fundamentals in the past, you’ll benefit greatly from attending SRY Fundamentals: Supreme Spine. If you’re new to SRY, attend SRY Fundamentals and Supreme Illumination to learn the anatomy of the subtle spine.

Supreme Illumination

Turn your practice and teaching of Supreme Release Yoga upside down! In Supreme Illumination, Kaya unpacks a new way to nurture and understand the physical and subtle spine through accessible, but advanced, inversions. These poses allow you and your clients to experience weightlessness, rest, revitalization, inner pause, and an illuminative shift in viewpoint in and out of the practice.

Śavāsana and Yoga Nidrā

Join Kaya for an entire day dedicated to Śavāsana and Yoga Nidrā. This day for Yoga teachers is centered around the blissful and effective Supreme Release Yoga {SRY} approach to Śavāsana and yogic sleep.

Students spend the day diving into experiential learning, partner pairing, and teachings on the Vedic viewpoint of yogic sleep. You’ll leave with a deeper practice of Śavāsana for yourself, a profound understanding of the purpose and potential of Śavāsana and the skill to deliver this to others.
