Graduation Puja:
Nectar of Illumination Class of 2025

Our Pūjā took place during the sacred 2nd day of the Maghā Gupta Navarātri – the day dedicated to Bhrahmacāriṇī – the goddess as the dedicated student.

At this time, Jupiter was shining bright, in Taurus. This gives meaning of great resources and blessings of mantra, sacred studies, ritual, sangha and planting seeds that will grow into profound nourishment. In its final days of Retrograde here, this time also invokes reviewing the studies of the past before stepping toward the next threshold of study.

Venus had also just moved into Pisces – a configuration of devotion, retreat, ritual, nourishment, sacred sensuality, sacred counsel and moksha.

Sankalpa & Pūjā

A few words from Kaya, naming the graduates, sankalpa & 5-step Pūjā. Together we recite the Ganapati Gayatri 12x. This honors the 12 cycles [years] of Jupiter of studentship.

Thank you for being you.

Thank you for trusting me… and this tradition to hold you… and for trusting each other.

Thank you for the way you poured yourself into the reflection questions as you have your studies – beautiful, deep, heartfelt, personal and intelligent.

This is yoga. This is vidyā. This is bhakti. And YOU are the reason.

May the gurus be raining down their flowers of love and guidance… now and on the next stage of this pilgrimage.

I am celebrating you, and enthusiastic for all that is yet to come.

Love,
Kaya
