Sanskrit Mantra Practice Class with Kaya
Mantras for Inner Light
Sunday {day of the Sun}, January 24th at 10am Pacific Time {Vancouver} – recorded as well
In this special class and invitation to a month-long sādhana {practice} Kaya shares key meaning and pronunciation of two traditional Sanskrit mantras that invoke and connect us to light – light in the form of the sun, the Self, the heart and the illuminative capacity of awareness.
Mantras have many purposes, the invocations taught in this class are encouraged for spiritual seekers to do during the beginning phase of Uttarāyana – the time when the Sun moves into Capricorn, launching its auspicious 6-month Northern journey through the sky. You’ll learn the beautiful value and purpose and how to chant properly. You can return to the recording again and again to practice!
For those who already know this mantra, the class is an opportunity to deepen your understanding & delve into the healing and transformative benefits with the support of a teacher & sangha… it is also an opportunity to commit to a 30 day practice with a group.

“Prayer is the highest form of communication with the divine. Prayer helps nurture ones special relationship with the Divine. Prayer has its purpose in helping one achieve an object of desire, and helps one gain the maturity to be a qualified recipient of spiritual knowledge, which helps us discover the freedom and happiness that is the nature of oneself” – Swami Dayananda.
