In this pilgrimage through the feminine divine, Kaya lovingly guides with stories, metaphor, teachings and initiation into chanting selections from the Devī Mahatmya – the ancient devotional hymn to the divine mother.

Kaya is the only teacher in her generation of her spiritual lineage who has been given the blessing to initiate others in these sacred recitations.

She uses textural references from the Vedic & Tantra tradition and teachings from the oral tradition inherited from her teachers.

Students of this program will deepen into a lifelong relationship with the divine mother, expand and deepen their knowledge, and, if they choose be able to launch their spiritual year with an authentic daily devotional practice.

The devi mantra is one of the few things I’ve been consistent with in a long time. It’s grounding. It’s beautiful. It’s a practice
- Tamsie
I think it’s become a life practice for me. Just love chanting it every morning! And I find myself chanting particular verses in the day when things come up. It’s magical.

Nectar of Navarātri: Initiation

For Students not Initiated in the Yā Devī Mantra of the Devī Mahatmya

I’m so grateful for finding my way to you. The Feminine Divine teachings are absolutely beautiful and moving, I feel like a child in some ways if that makes sense, maybe because it feels so new to me and so much of it is.., yet I have a great feeling of knowing.
- Bridget
Thank you for a wonderful Navaratri celebration and initiation into the these mantras. I loved the cadence of the course, the wisdom that unfolded within it and this beautiful practice that is blossoming in my life right now. It has clarified and deepened so much for me.
- Claire
Relationship with the feminine divine has been one of the most beloved and deepening aspects of my practice and life, beginning for me in 2007 thanks to one of my dear teachers.

Navarātri is a sacred and important time to deepen one’s practice, make extra time for practice, or launch a new practice for the year.

Though parts of this offering are self-paced it is to be completed within the time frame of Navarātri due to the initiation aspect.

If you’ve been wanting to bring devotion, mantra, bhakti, and deeper practice and connection to the divine into your life, this is the time to begin.

If you feel called to devote time to cultivate your personal relationship with the feminine divine, I would be honored to share this beautiful heart opening time with you.

This is not a training in teaching others, this is initation for your personal devotional life.
