The Glory of the Grahas is meant to reveal mysteries about the cosmos that enlighten our understsanding of ourselves and the world. The knowledge shared is born out of vedic hymns, jyotiṣa śāstra [which includes scripture and oral transmission] and the stories of the purānas.
A Note from Kaya & Michael
Michael is the Masterful Jyotiṣi behind this program. Kaya is the teacher, delivering mysteries to those who seek them.
We met as young seekers… pilgrims in life and sādhana – Michael a meditator and almost-monk and Kaya an aspiring yoga teacher with her heart in vedic scripture.
On our first trip to India together, at 23 years old, we sought āyurveda studies and were told by a friend, “no, you are going to study jyotisa”. And so we did.
Michael went deep… in close one-on-one relationship with our teacher Hart, leading to advisement of countless international clientele. Kaya went wide, teaching large groups around the world with song, stories and sādhana.
It is our profound honor to share with you, as our Guru Pujya Swami Dayānanda commanded us to do.

This is a 2 part program, offered January 21 & 28, 2026 from 1pm-3pm Pacific Time. Classes will be taught LIVE and will be recorded for your convenience.You will have lifetime access.
You do not need anything. However, a notebook dedicated for notes is strongly encouraged.
Each class is 2 hours of teachings, storytime & discussion.
If you’re trying to minimize screen time, just darken your screen listen as an audio course. The video is there to make it a little more engaging for people who are in need of visual connection to the teacher.
Yes! There will be time during class for questions. You’ll also be invited into our online Sangha – a beautiful, diverse and supportive group of students online. There you can share your experience, insights & questions. Maybe you’ll even connect with students who have the same Nakṣatras as you!
We do not believe that a reading should be teaching. In fact, we view it as a red flag if you come away from a jyotish reading knowing “facts” about your horoscope or the system of jyotisha. A reading is to receive useful counsel for your life – in a reading, the techniques of jyotisha are the concern of the jyotishi, not the client. In a class – like Glory of the Grahas – you will learn about the system. This is a wisdom course. But! Students in the Nectar of the Nakṣatras will have their charts as part of the program, and you’ll be able to see your “ruling” planet that has a key influence in your life.
The Glory of the Grahas is part of the Nectar of the Nakṣatras program. However, it is being offered a la carte for those students who are interested in a taste of Jyotisha studies. Please do not join if you are already registered for the Nectar of teh Nakṣatras.
