Learn to Nourish & Release
{or teach others!}
with fewer props.
Want to share or practice SRY with fewer props?
Whether for your practice during travel, teaching in an environment with few props, or seeking to expand your experience and explore alternatives to support, this practice will deepen your understanding and direct experience of Supreme Release Yoga.
Support is an essential component of the Supreme Release Yoga practice.
The propping is a key to nurturance, letting go, and effectively targeting particular regions of the physical and subtle spine. Often, more propping provides a more therapeutic effect. And yet… there are times when a minimalist approach is necessary or can even shine a light on a different aspect or experience of the practice!
In this training, Kaya unpacks the particulars of practicing {or teaching} effectively without props. Learn which āsanas can be done using just a wall, floor, or chair to decompress the spine {and which cannot!}. Live attendance means Kaya’s eyes on your body {alignments, angles, and the effectiveness of the asana}. You also get to witness how Kaya handles various things that come up with individual practitioners and the diverse but patterned expression of angling into and nourishing the spine.
